AAAAAH LEAVE HIM ALONE

( Mutsu sure isn't at Sword Haus because he can't trust a single person in that place. Hell, he can't even trust Haru right now. Swords are old fashioned and it won't take long for Haru to realize and try to get rid of him. Since there's no museum to go back to in Cerealia, that just means he's going to end up scrapped for resources and that's scary as hell to think about. He's fine with losing his purpose but he doesn't want to die!

So Mutsu's left and he's tried to stick to crowds of people in case he has to dodge into them and lose people but all of those people... they just keep looking at him funny and it's sending him over the edge! He breaks away to catch a breath of air which means he's somehow found himself in the pleasure district-- or at least, one fo the still nicer areas. It's foreign but there houses and the gardens remind him of the past and it's enough to ground him just a little more. Times are changing-- times have already changed-- but some things are always the same. Some things are always reliable.

But then this is all a little too old fashioned and it just gets him thinking about the past and the people here. Just last week, he'd agreed to give those guys a chance and now he's wondering if it was a good idea? Mutsu never agreed to being friends or anything that serious but to tolerate them and get along with them? is that possible? There are still things they don't know. He bets their swords are going to tell them any minute and sell him out.

This is stressful and there's something inside of him telling him this isn't normal but another voice in his head keeps telling him to stop making excuses. Stop giving everyone a benefit of a doubt. Don't get too relaxed. Don't get too comfortable. Don't end up caught off guard like back then... The anxiety grips at his heart, twisting and turning and he ends up reaching for his sword, trying to hold himself together the best he can right now.

Souji, now really isn't the time.
